Polio Vaccination Activities – Malir and Golimar Health Centers

In line with national immunization efforts and APWA’s mission to safeguard community health, polio vaccination activities were organized at the Malir and Golimar Health Centers during the reporting period.

APWA established static polio vaccination centers at both locations to ensure easy access and efficient service delivery for families in the surrounding communities. Trained health workers and vaccinators were actively engaged in administering vaccines, maintaining records, and guiding parents on the importance of routine immunization.

To support community mobilization and increase participation, public awareness announcements were made from the health centers to inform residents about the ongoing vaccination campaign and encourage parents to bring their children for timely polio vaccination. These efforts contributed to improved outreach and reinforced public trust in immunization services.

The vaccination activities played an important role in supporting national polio eradication initiatives and strengthening community awareness regarding child health and disease prevention.
