APWA National Headquarters: Driving Social Change and Empowerment
APWA National Headquarters (NHQ), located in Karachi, functions as the central coordinating body of the organization and operates independently while administratively falling under Sindh. From the NHQ, APWA leads and oversees a wide range of national-level initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and social welfare. Key areas of work include education programs, youth development initiatives, healthcare services, vocational training at the Golimar center, zakat distribution for underprivileged families, and rehabilitation and welfare activities for women prisoners through the Jail Project. Through these integrated interventions, APWA NHQ plays a pivotal role in shaping policy direction, program implementation, and nationwide advocacy for women’s rights and community development.

Education Projects
APWA Sindh runs multiple education initiatives to provide quality learning opportunities for children and women. Schools and training centers focus on literacy, skill development, and academic excellence, enabling students to achieve educational milestones while fostering leadership and confidence.

Golimar Project
At Golimar, APWA Sindh implements community development programs, providing education, vocational training, and health services to underprivileged residents. These initiatives uplift women and children by creating opportunities for skill development, financial independence, and social engagement.

Youth Development
Youth programs aim to cultivate leadership, civic engagement, and life skills among young men and women. Through workshops, sports activities, mentorship programs, and community projects, APWA Sindh empowers youth to contribute positively to society, fostering responsibility, teamwork, and personal growth.

Jail Project
APWA Sindh works in local jails to support incarcerated women through educational programs, skill development workshops, and counseling services. The initiative aims to empower women inmates, providing them with knowledge, vocational skills, and emotional support to reintegrate successfully into society.

Healthcare Initiatives
Healthcare projects focus on preventive care, health education, and access to essential medical services. APWA Sindh organizes medical camps, vaccination drives, awareness sessions, and maternal and child health programs, ensuring communities receive timely support and knowledge to lead healthier lives.
