New President of All Pakistan Women’s Association (APWA)
The All Pakistan Women's Association (APWA) hereby formally announces and welcomes Dr. Tanvir Irshad Kamal as the newly elected President of APWA, and she has officially assumed office as the President APWA with effect from 1st June 2025.
Dr. Tanvir Irshad Kamal is a distinguished leader and long-serving member of APWA, known for her unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment, community development, and social welfare. Her dynamic leadership and years of service within APWA have earned her deep respect across the organization.

She brings with her a progressive vision, a deep understanding of APWA’s mission, and a passion to further elevate its work on national and international platforms. Under her guidance, APWA looks forward to continued growth, stronger outreach, and greater impact across Pakistan.

Furthermore, with the endorsement of the newly constituted National Executive Committee, Dr. Tanvir Kamal has officially appointed Miss Charmaine Hidayatullah, former President of APWA, as an Executive Member of the National Committee. In recognition of her longstanding service, she will now serve in a voluntary capacity as Vice President – International.
