
APWA Celebrates Aniqa Adil’s Prime Minister’s Youth Excellence Award
The All Pakistan Women’s Association (APWA) proudly celebrated the remarkable achievement of its Youth Chairperson, Aniqa Adil, who received the Prime Minister’s Youth Excellence Award from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on 12 August 2026.
Celebrating an Exceptional Achievement
The prestigious award recognizes Aniqa among 30 outstanding young Pakistanis for her leadership, international representation, and commitment to youth participation, climate governance, gender equality, and women’s empowerment.
The occasion marked a proud moment for APWA, celebrating Aniqa’s contributions both nationally and internationally. Over the past year, she has represented Pakistan across 12 countries, participating in global youth forums, diplomatic platforms, the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, and COP29 in Baku.
As APWA’s Youth Chairperson, Aniqa also leads a network of more than 600 youth volunteers working across areas including climate action, environmental justice, gender equality, digital literacy, civic engagement, and youth leadership.
A Proud Moment for APWA
The recognition was warmly welcomed by APWA leadership and members, who congratulated Aniqa on this significant national honour.
Dr. Tanvir Kamal, President of APWA, expressed her pride in Aniqa’s achievement and highlighted her as an inspiration for young Pakistanis, particularly young women, encouraging them to step forward and take on leadership roles.
The event served as a celebration of youth leadership, women’s empowerment, and Pakistan’s growing representation on international platforms.
