A successful Mental Health and Polio Awareness session was conducted on 11th February 2026, aimed at educating participants about emotional well-being and the importance of childhood immunization. The session was facilitated by Ms. Nayyer Rubbab and organized under the health and community outreach initiatives of All Pakistan Women’s Association.

The program focused on two key areas:

  • Mental health awareness and emotional well-being

  • The importance of polio vaccination in safeguarding children’s health

A total of 49 girls, along with 16 teachers and mothers, participated in the session. The event was highly interactive, encouraging participants to actively engage in discussions and share their thoughts and experiences. Many attendees expressed their perspectives openly, contributing to a meaningful and supportive learning environment.

Key discussion points included:

  • Recognizing emotional challenges and coping strategies

  • Promoting mental well-being among young girls

  • Understanding the role of polio vaccination in disease prevention

  • Encouraging health awareness and responsible caregiving

Participants demonstrated strong interest and engagement, with numerous questions and personal reflections shared during the session. The interactive format allowed attendees to gain practical knowledge while fostering confidence in discussing health-related issues.

The session concluded successfully, receiving positive feedback from participants. Attendees emphasized the value of such awareness programs in promoting health education and emotional empowerment. These initiatives continue to support community well-being and reinforce APWA’s commitment to health awareness and social development.
