Shaping Tomorrow: APWA’s Vision To Empower Our Youth

The All Pakistan Women's Association (APWA) believes in youth being the foundation of change and progress in any society. Through our consistent efforts, we aim to guide our youth toward roles of leadership, innovation, and cultural preservation. The dedicated team at APWA devises innovative strategies to empower them to a brighter future. This report highlights our aims and efforts toward our goal.

Distinguished Leadership:

Mrs. Rashida Kiran Adil: (Chairperson Youth)

Qualified MA in Urdu and currently pursuing her PhD, Mrs. Adil has lent her expertise to various committees in APWA. She is committed to fostering a sustainable world and uplifting the nation's morale.

Mrs. Rozina Khuwaja (Education Project Director):

A qualified educator with an M.ED in Teacher Education, Mrs. Khuwaja served as the former Academic Head at Aga Khan Education Services Pakistan (AKESP).

Overview

APWA’s youth sector has been influential in raising awareness about the importance of empowering the youth on a global forum.

 

Our mission is to engage youth in initiatives that promote education and sustainability and nurture a generation of empowered, proactive, and socially responsible young adults who strive to drive change in the society.

Achievements

  1. Celebrated International Youth Day, highlighting youth voices and achievements

  2. Discussing challenges to youth globally on International Youth Day

  3. Focusing on the communal aspect of youth engagement programs

  4. Devise APWA’s community projects for skill development and leadership

  5. Presenting opportunities to take part in discussions of socio-economic issues

  6. Advocating youth contribution in COP ‘29 by showing that such environmental initiatives and changes need to be led by the youth

  7. Inspiring young people to develop innovative solutions to pressing environmental, socio-economic, and political issues

  8. Organizing workshops to equip the youth with modern innovative thinking in entrepreneurship

  9. With the aid of experienced individuals at APWA, offering mentorship programs to guide the youth

Global Outreach and Advocacy

Through participation and discussions in global events like COP ‘29, APWA has been able to advocate its stance on youth empowerment. It gives the organization a chance to bring globally valued innovative ideas and strategies back to our country and lead the youth to learn from them and apply them to our society so that we can rise with the times

We envision a future where every young individual has the same opportunity for growth in every domain, such as education and leadership. By continuing on our path, we aim to raise a generation of strong and independent young adults who are well-equipped to address challenges such as environmental issues, technological advancements, and economic disparities with innovation.
